We are very pleased that Melk abbey is open for guests again, and the visit of our Baroque World Cultural Heritage site is possible again.
The museum rooms with the exhibition “The Path from Yesterday to Today”, the Marble Hall, the balcony, the abbey library and the High Baroque abbey church will be open for individual travelers only. Guided tours will not be possible until at least the end of June.
Abbey visit: Monday – Sunday: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm (last admission at 4.30 pm)
Ticket prices (including the abbey visit and the visit of the abbey park and northern bastion):
Adults : € 12,50
Family Ticket: € 25,00
(2 parents with their child/ren up to 16 years of age)
1 parent with his/her child/ren: € 12,50
(up to 16 years of age)
pupils and students : € 6,50
(up to 27 years of age, with student ID)
The historical abbey park with the café in the Baroque pavilion, the panoramic terrace, and the gift shop in the Northern Bastion is re-open.
Abbey Park and Northern Bastion: Monday – Saturday: 11.00 am – 6.00 pm and Sundays and Holidays: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm

Pupils/Students (17-27 years): € 3,50
