Guided tour for small groups of fewer than 20 guests:

including entrance to the abbey park (May to October) and the Northern Bastion
per adult € 13,00 plus flat fee € 60,00

Prices include 13% VAT and entertainment tax levied by the town of melk/ prices valid until December 2023 / prices per person

Guided tours for groups can be booked from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm (Nov-March) and 9.00 am to 4.30 pm (April-Oct)
Guided tours at other times upon request.

Your group will be booked at the desired time – if still available – or at the next possible time. You get a confirmation for your reservation with a tour code (reservation number).

Parking lot
Groups and individual visitors who purchase admission tickets to Melk Abbey may use the parking lot free of charge. The parking ticket must be validated at the cash desk (first courtyard) when buying the admission tickets. Within 15 minutes after drawing a parking ticket, the parking lot can be left free of charge/without validation of the parking ticket. More information...

A cancellation is possible free of charge until 3 days before the planned arrival (until 4.00 pm). For a later cancellation a fee of € 50,- is charged. In case of no show a cancellation fee of € 100,- is charged.

Payment is possible in cash or with EC or credit card, on the spot.
Payment by bank transfer is only possible if you have a voucher contract with Melk abbey. Bank charges for a foreign bank transfer must be paid by the voucher client. In case of default in payment the voucher contract will immediately be terminated.
