Due to the secondary school there are many musical and theatrical performances done with the pupils. Beginning with small plays, prepared for example in class for parent evenings, these continue with performances rehearsed in the theater group and culminate in the musical performances, which have become very poplar in the last few years. On average, 100 to 150 pupils participate in the performance of a musical. There are also joint projects with the abbey choir, one of the most notable being the performance of “Carmina Burana”.
The music projects began in 1984 with “Jesus Christ Superstar”. This was followed by “Hair”, “Godspell”, “Touch Me”, “Don Quichote”, “Benni”, “Joseph”, “Carmina Burana”, “Godspell”, and Joseph Haydn’s “The Creation”.
